Welcome.
I can't wait to partner with you to support your child.
About Me.
My name is Chelsey Branham, and I bring over 12 years of experience in the field of education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, serving as a special education teacher, department chair, instructional coach, dean of students, and district-level administrator supporting 29 schools and hundreds of teachers, principals, and paraprofessionals. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, and certifications as a teacher, educational supervisor, and principal.
My specialization lies in understanding the processes involved in securing extra help for students, whether through a 504 plan or special education services. I work hand-in-hand with families, demystifying the often confusing procedures, so they can confidently advocate for their child's educational needs.
Becoming a parent myself has given me a fresh perspective and made me realize the importance of building strong relationships between schools and parents. I wanted to provide personalized support to families, empowering them with the knowledge and understanding they need to navigate the education system effectively.
My Approach
I will always put kids first. Ensuring children receive the necessary support in a way that best suits their needs and the needs of their families is my top priority. Drawing from my experience as a teacher, coach, and parent, I approach educational consulting with a realistic, no-nonsense mindset to help students get what they need to succeed.
I have extensive experience auditing special education paperwork and assisting schools in implementing corrective action plans as part of state audits. I have an in-depth understanding of special education laws, ensuring that every step of the process is compliant and effective. I have coached numerous professionals in writing compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and have personally written countless evaluation reports and IEPs. I have also written curriculum for many subject areas, conducted trainings at the school, district, and state level, and have engaged in teacher coaching and mentorship for many years. I truly know this system inside and out.
